Meet Our Conference Staff
Conference Manager
Sarah holds a B.S. in Theatre with a minor in Business Management from Radford University and currently serves as Grant Writer for Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, Florida. A passionate advocate for theatre, arts education, and creative collaboration, Sarah brings a unique blend of artistic, administrative, and development experience to her work.
Her involvement with the Virginia Theatre Association began in 2013 when she attended her first conference as a high school student. It was through VTA that she first discovered Radford University, ultimately leading her to pursue her theatre degree there. While at Radford, Sarah worked with the Middle School Theatre Festival from 2017–2019 and was actively involved in the university's scene shop and sound booth, developing a particular passion for scenic painting and sound design.
In 2022, Sarah returned to VTA as Conference Manager, where she oversees conference operations, registration, logistics, and participant experience. This year marks her fifth conference in the role. She is honored to give back to the organization that helped shape her own educational and professional journey and is excited to welcome attendees to Norfolk for another inspiring year of connecting, creating, and celebrating the art of theatre.
